COVID-19 Information
Health and Safety is a priority at Astra Support Services We implement up-to-date guidelines and legislation regarding the disability sector according to the Victorian Government. We ask that all employees, participants and visitors refrain from attending our Head Office and notify management if experiencing any Covid related symptoms and may not return until providing a negative Covid test. Similarly, any participants who are feeling unwell with Covid-like symptoms must inform management and their care workers or providers before they meet with them face-to-face so that precautionary measures can be taken. This could include PPE and assistance to receive a Covid test.
We have implemented additional health and safety precautions in all our workplaces to prevent possible exposure including:
- ➤ Temperature checks
- ➤ Hand sanitiser and liquid soap
- ➤ PPE
- ➤ Social distancing where practicable
Our employees have all undergone relevant training for the prevention of infections and diseases.
